Day 1

Start the day on a high note and see all the sights from the top deck of our red bus. City Sightseeing offers a few different tour options in and around the Western Cape: you can enjoy a trip around the city centre, the Cape Winelands or Cape Point, or see the Atlantic Seaboard. Hop on and hop off the bus as you please and explore the city at your leisure.

One of the New7Wonders of Nature, Table Mountain is a bucket-list item you’ll definitely want to tick off. You can hop off the red bus right at the Lower Cable Station and join the queue for the cableway. Enjoy the view at the top of the mountain, grab a bite to eat at Table Mountain Café or work from the Wi-Fi Lounge. Bring along a camera to snap some incredible images of this natural wonder. Remember to wear comfy shoes, and be sure to have warmer clothing packed in case the weather changes while on the mountain.

The best way to end off a busy day? Get onto a yacht, relax and unwind with some friends. The V&A Waterfront is surrounded by incredible views fit for a postcard and is home to the Waterfront Charters yacht company. Watch the sunset and chill out with a glass of champagne on the seas, – a perfect summer outing.

Day 2

A jam-packed day filled with activities, this part of itinerary is ideal for historical buffs and art enthusiasts.

The morning starts off with a LaGugu township tour (one of the City Sightseeing offerings) on which you can get an in-depth guided tour around Gugulethu, one of Cape Town’s most vibrant areas and only 15-km from the city centre.

After that, take in some more local culture and history.Visitors can hop on the red bus and explore more of Cape Town. The city centre is known for its incredible selection of museums, from the historical Slave Lodge to the Bo-Kaap Museum, the South African National Gallery and more. There’s something for everyone, including a walking tour of the Castle of Good Hope, a fort built in the 17th century by the Dutch East India Company. A highlight for contemporary art and architecture lovers is the recently opened Zeitz Mocaa Museum.

Day 3

After two days of walking around the city centre, seeing Gugulethu and Table Mountain, the last day of the itinerary is all about unwinding. The Western Cape remains the biggest wine producer in the country and the Constantia winelands are a must-visit for any wine enthusiasts. Take a ride and enjoy the Constantia Valley Wine Bus tour which visits three different wine farms in the region.

The day also includes a visit to Mama Africa, a restaurant in Long Street serving traditional South African cuisine. Get a taste of local food and tuck into game meat like kudu biltong; or try the crocodile platter. You’ll be left with a full belly and an authentic South African foodie experience.

To enjoy each of the attractions mentioned above individually will cost you a total of R2 930. But if you buy the three-day Unlimited City Attractions Pass you will only pay R1 445. That’s a saving of 51%!
