Partnerships and Sponsors

These partnerships matter:

  • Cape Town Carnival: The Cape Town Carnival is a vibrant annual celebration of art, culture, and diversity that takes place on the streets of Cape Town. Featuring dazzling costumes, dynamic performances, and colourful floats, the event brings together communities from across the city in a joyful display of creativity and unity. It typically happens in March and is free for the public to enjoy.
  • Jive Cape Town Funny Festival: South Africa’s longest-running and most loved comedy variety festival launched in 1997, held annually at the Baxter Theatre in Rondebosch during Cape Town’s winter months (June–July)
  • SANCCOB: (Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds) is a Cape Town–based non‑profit dedicated to saving seabirds—especially the endangered African penguin—along South Africa’s coasts. Founded in 1968 after the Esso Essen oil spill, SANCCOB has since become a world leader in seabird rescue, rehabilitation, chick‑rearing, and education.
  • Mandela Day Acts of Kindness: Mandela Day, celebrated on 18 July, honours the legacy of Nelson Mandela by encouraging individuals and organisations to spend 67 minutes doing good — symbolising the 67 years Mandela dedicated to public service. Acts of kindness can range from donating food or clothing, volunteering at shelters or schools, cleaning up communities, to simply helping a neighbour in need. Whether big or small, these gestures contribute to building a more compassionate and unified society, reflecting Madiba’s values of justice, respect, and human dignity.
