What is the Harties Aerial Cableway like

It’s a modern cable car on the slopes of the Magaliesberg, above Hartbeespoort Dam.

The ride takes about 6–10 minutes one way.

At the top, you’ll find:

Panoramic viewpoints over the dam and surrounding mountains

Walkways and designated viewing areas

Restaurants, snack outlets, and sometimes kids’ play zones

It’s suitable for most ages and fitness levels; walking at the top is mostly on paved paths

Is the cableway safe

Yes. The Harties Aerial Cableway:

Complies with stringent safety and maintenance standards

Operates modern cable cars inspected regularly

Has trained staff assisting with boarding and disembarking

Operations may be suspended in bad weather (strong wind, lightning) for safety.

What can I expect at the Lion & Safari Park

A wildlife experience where you may see lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, hyenas, giraffe, zebra, various antelope and more.
