You’re standing on Signal Hill on a warm, clear evening, watching the sun sink into the Atlantic Ocean below.
For a moment you forget about everything else. There is only the here and now above the beautiful city of Cape Town, with the lights of Table Mountain at your back …
Sound good? Luckily, a pleasant daydream will quickly become reality with City Sightseeing’s Sunset Bus, a special tour that takes passengers to the top of Signal Hill every evening.
Unlike the other City Sightseeing tours, the Sunset Bus is not operated in the typical hop-on, hop-off fashion. It departs from stop 1 outside the Two Oceans Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront between 5pm and 6.30pm, returning after about three hours.
It’s a great way to spend the final daylight hours in the Mother City.
