If you're looking for a little maritime merriment, the V&A Waterfront's working harbour is a vibrant and ever-changing attraction, with tug boats, ferries, fishing vessels, charter boats and marine life coming and going throughout the day.
All aboard!
You'll discover all these nautical niceties and more on board our 25-minute cruise. Spot the SAS Somerset (the only remaining boom defence vessel left in the world) before heading under the southern hemisphere's only drawbridge. You'll also pass the Nelson Mandela Gateway (to Robben Island), the Chavonnes Battery Museum showcasing the archaeological ruins of a Dutch East India Company fort, and the Clock Tower. And just like our bus tours, you'll also get audio commentary in 15 different langauges, and a special kids' channel.
Here's a glimpse of what's in store:
The Waterfront Harbour Cruise is a perfect addition to the City or Mini Peninsula Tours, both of which stop just a few metres from where the cruise starts. Buy your tickets here and we'll see you on board!
