Our popular Cape Town Sunset Bus tour returns today (Friday, 23 September 2016) and will run until 30 April 2017. To help you make the most of this offer, here’s a list of frequently asked questions so you can enjoy the best way to see Cape Town’s spectacular sunsets:
How much does the Sunset Bus tour cost?
If bought from one of our tour offices, an adult ticket costs R120. If bought online, it costs R100 (you save R20).
Children aged 5 to 17 pay R60 each, while kids under 5 ride free of charge (a maximum of two children per paying adult).
Where do I buy Sunset Bus tour tickets?
Tickets for the Sunset Bus tour can be bought from our tour offices at stop 1 (V&A Waterfront, outside the Two Oceans Aquarium) or stop 5 (81 Long Street). Or, for the lowest price, purchase your tickets online to receive a R20 discount.
Where does the Sunset Bus depart from, and at what time?
The Sunset Bus departs daily from stop 1 between 5.30 and 6pm.

There is also a connecting shuttle at stop 5, transporting passengers to stop 1 for the Sunset Bus tour. It departs from 81 Long Street at 5pm every day.
How long is the Sunset Bus tour?
The Sunset Bus tour is approximately 2 to 3 hours long. It will take you along the Atlantic seaboard to Signal Hill, where you’ll hop off to watch the sun set over the ocean and the city lights flickering on below you.
What should I bring along?
It can get chilly after dark, so warm clothing is advisable. We also suggest you pack a picnic basket and blanket, as well as mobile device or camera to capture the experience.
Please note: There is no Sunset Bus from 24 December 2016 to 3 January 2017, or on 12 March 2017.
