The Easter weekend is all about hunting for delectable chocolate treats and marshmallow eggs delivered by the Easter bunny overnight. We did some research and discovered some amazing treats and activities to enjoy as a family over the long weekend.

We are known as the Official City Tour of Jozi on our Double Decker Hop on - Hop off Bus, including Soweto, and more. Explore the City of Gold, as she is affectionately known, by boarding our famous red open-top bus. The bus, which has over 16 stops and takes you to over 20 of Johannesburg's top attractions, allows you to hop on and hop off at your leisure. It's secure, entertaining, educational, and convenient. The fun-filled Kids Easter Garden invites little shoppers visiting Bedford over the long Easter weekend to join in on all the Easter egg-activities. Here, kids may spend some time getting into the holiday spirit by participating in a variety of fun activities such as arts and crafts, colouring, and an amazing scavenger hunt, all of which are completely free. Grab your family and come to Bedford for the long weekend to enjoy everything they have to offer.

With the Egoli Easter Festival, you can join in on all of the holiday fun. This thrilling and entertaining event is the perfect way to keep your kids occupied over the holiday weekend. There will be plenty of fun in the sun, featuring a thrilling carnival, plenty of water fun to keep you cool, a gorgeous petting zoo, an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt, as well as live music and entertainment to keep your little ones occupied.

Stonehaven will be hosting a plethora of festive events throughout the Easter weekend. There's likely to be exactly the right celebration for you and your family, from delectable breakfasts and sailing buffets on the Vaal to free children's activities to keep the small ones entertained. Stonehaven’s Easter Egg Hunt, along with their favourite rabbit, has hidden a plethora of Easter eggs throughout their beautiful gardens. This is a free event for the kids if you've reserved a table at one of their delectable buffet options. The hunts will begin at 11 am on Easter Friday, Sunday, and Monday.

There will also be plenty of exciting entertainment and activities for the kids, including super slides, gladiator pits, foam pits, a kiddies pool, rocket rides, and jumping castles. Make sure you don't miss out on the biggest Easter egg hunt in Joburg South.

Avianto, located in the Muldersdrift countryside, provides a lovely environment for a fun-filled Family Fun Day. Kids will have a joyful time hunting for Easter eggs with an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt set up on the Avianto grounds during this Family Fun Day on Good Friday, from 10 am to 12 pm. While the kids are having fun collecting Easter eggs, the parents can enjoy an amazing meal from the à la carte menu at the Avianto Clubhouse or Café Cielo. Because space is limited, reservations are essential.
