Where are the pick-up and return locations?

Pick-ups are available from lodges and hotels within a 5 km radius of OR Tambo International Airport between 06:30 and 06:45 AM. Guests can also meet at the Shuttle and Bus Terminal between 06:45 and 07:00 AM. Departure is at 07:15 AM.

Can I fly directly to the Kruger area instead of joining the transfer from Johannesburg?

Yes. Guests flying into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport or Skukuza Kruger National Park will be picked up for free by their safari guide.

How do I confirm my pick-up details?

Please confirm your pick-up location 7 days before the tour by emailing: travel@familysafarisbookings.com.

This scenic drive includes visits to iconic landmarks such as God’s Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, the Three Rondavels, and the village of Graskop.

What do I need to bring for the Panorama Route day?

Comfortable walking shoes and a jacket are recommended. Weather varies as you gain elevation along the Drakensberg mountain range.

What is the return time to Johannesburg on the final day?

The shuttle departs the lodge at approximately 12:30 PM and arrives back at OR Tambo Airport or nearby lodges between 17:00 and 18:00 PM.

Can I book a flight on the final day of the tour?

Yes, but please do not schedule domestic flights before 20:00 PM or international flights before 21:00 PM to allow for travel delays.
