Overview

To book this tour, please click here. Experience the Best of Kruger on a three-day safari that takes you deep into one of the world’s most renowned wildlife reserves — the Kruger National Park. While most operators limit guests to standard three-hour morning and afternoon drives, Kurt Safari pioneered full-day safaris to make the most of Kruger’s vast landscapes and diverse ecosystems. Unlike shorter game drives that stick close to camp and cover the same areas repeatedly, a full-day safari allows guests to explore a much wider range of terrain and wildlife habitats. With plenty of stops at scenic lookouts and rest camps, the day is comfortably paced and packed with potential sightings. Moving through varied grasslands and ecological zones increases your chances of seeing a greater variety of species. Your 3-day Kruger safari package includes a sunset or night drive on day one, a full-day open vehicle safari on day two, and an early morning game drive on day three. On these tours, over 80% of guests encounter all members of the Big Five. Accommodation is provided at the Sanbonani Hotel and Umbhaba Eco Lodge — two privately owned, 4-star lodges just outside Hazyview. From there, it’s a quick 15-minute drive to the Phabeni Gate, one of the most wildlife-rich access points into the park.
