Duration: 3 days

Overview

During a three-day safari, we spend a lot of time touring the Kruger National Park, one of the best wildlife reserves in the world. The majority of operators only offer three-hour morning and afternoon drives, but Kurt Safari was among the first to offer full-day safaris on our three-day safari itineraries since the KNP is so large. Unlike short 3-hour safaris that have to stay near to the camps and drive the same regions every safari, this allows clients to view a greater portion of the Kruger and diverse areas. Although it may seem exhausting to spend an entire day in the KNP, the guides make many stops at lookout areas and rest camps. As we go through various grasslands and ecological zones over the longer period, there is a greater potential of sighting more species. A sunset/night safari on day one, a full day open vehicle safari on day two, and an early morning safari in the Kruger Park on day three are all included in your three-day Best of Kruger package. On 3-day safaris, 80% of our customers see all five of the Big Five. Kurt Safari uses the Sanbonani Hotel and Umbhaba Eco Lodge. These 4-star, privately owned, high-quality lodges are located just outside of Hazyview, and it takes less than 15 minutes to go to the Phabeni Gate, which is the main wildlife area in Kruger.
