Igers rushed to the top of the double-decker bus to capture the magnificent sunset last night
Together with Cape Town Tourism, City Sightseeing Cape Town hosted its first ever #SunsetBusInstameet – and the photos captured are #instagood!
The brief to Igers was simple: share your images of the Sunset Bus instantly. Mandi Jarman, sales and marketing manager of City Sightseeing explains, “We appreciate the art of photography and understand that editing photos takes time, but we encouraged the invited grammers to share their Sunset Bus experience as it happened.”
And the results were phenomenal. #SunsetBusInstameet trended on Twitter across the country as people posted their incredible shots of the sunset as it unfolded.

At the top, Cape Town Tourism treated everyone to delicious finger foods and Durbanville Hills bubbly, while they watched the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean and the city light up below.
And just when we thought we were done for the evening, the sky turned to shades of crimson, gold, cerise and azure – and the group excitedly grabbed their last few snaps before settling in for a lazy ride back to the Waterfront.
