With the V&A Waterfront’s pensioner special, you won’t even have to worry about where you’re going to leave your car while exploring. Simply visit the V&A Waterfront information kiosk to apply for a parking voucher and you’ll be able to use any parkade at the V&A Waterfront for free!
Please note this special is valid Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm.
No wonder this botanical garden is famous across the world – it showcases the unparalleled diversity and beauty of the South African floral kingdom. The garden, founded in 1913, lies on an estate that covers 528ha and supports a diverse fynbos flora and natural forest. Also featured is a Peninsula Garden, which contains some of the 2 500 plant species found on the Cape Peninsula.
Go for a long leisurely walk through the gardens, enjoy a traditional high tea at the Kirstenbosch Tea Room or enjoy the garden’s famous cycad arboretum.

South African pensioners can get a 50% discount on our Classic ticket on Tuesdays and Fridays, which means you'll pay R100 for a ticket that usually costs R200. The offer is also valid if a public holiday falls on a Tuesday or Friday. Pensioners also get a R20 discount on a Waterfront Harbour Cruise ticket (usually R45) on these days.
