Every year one of Cape Town's oldest streets – Adderley Street – is decked in an assortment of motif lights, and this year is no exception!
The lights are a popular attraction for both locals and visitors during the festive season. Families and friends typically drive down the road or take a stroll from one end to the other to enjoy the colourful display of lights at night.
Why not do things a little differently this year? Hop on a Sunset Bus* and experience this year's theme, "We Love Africa", from an open-top red bus.
The bus departs from the V&A Waterfront at 6pm daily (just outside the Two Oceans Aquarium) and takes a scenic drive along the Atlantic seaboard to Signal Hill – where you hop off to enjoy the sunset. On return the double-decker red bus takes a trip down Addereley Street, giving passengers an opportunity to enjoy the motif lights, before heading back to the V&A Waterfront.

*Please note that the Sunset Bus via Adderley Street route only operates while the festive lights are displayed. Once the lights have been removed by the City of Cape Town, we will return to our regular Sunset Bus route.
