From Table Mountain to the V&A Waterfront, from Camps Bay to Kirstenbosch, hop on board the open-top red bus and take in the beauty of Cape Town. This Classic Package gives you one full day on the bus covering all hop-on, hop-off Cape Town tours. With over 30 stops across our 3 bus tour loops: - The Red City Urban Safari tour, The Blue Scenic Safari Peninsula tour and The Purple Constantia Valley Wine Tour. Our onboard commentary includes an enjoyable kids' channel that will keep the kids entertained throughout.
There are so many attractions and activity stops on our routes. We have highlighted a few below.
On our Red Route, visit the iconic Table Mountain. There is no better way to view Cape Town than from the top of Table Mountain (stop no. 7). Your children will be enthralled by the experience; from the beginning of the journey on the rotating cable car to the summit, you will feel on top of the world. If you have teenagers or active children, consider purchasing a one-way ticket and hiking up or down one of the mountain's many trails.
Hiking
On our Blue Scenic Safari Peninsula Tour, enjoy a day of creativity at Clay Café in Hout Bay (stop no. 24) – a popular ceramic-painting venue that has been in operation for over 20 years and is a firm favourite among creative adults and children alike. You get to pick your unfired ceramics, paints, brushes, tools, and so on. They will fire and glaze your creative designs after they have been painted and decorated and will notify you via email when they are ready for collection. A fantastic day of indoor creative fun.
.
Located along our Purple Winelands Route at stop no. 21 on Constantia Nek, Acrobranch is a treetop experience dedicated to offering kids and adults a unique adventure as they move from tree to tree in lush, green forests. Allowing your children to swing through trees, dangle from branches, and balance in the air is the ideal outdoor adventure for children of all ages. All safety protocols are followed, and the children are securely fastened into a snug-fitting harness and hooked into secure lines throughout the course. Allow the kids to "hang out" while the parents relax with a cup of coffee.
Be sure to download our route map and plan your day.
