Cape Town: Hop on a red bus this Leap Day

16 February 2016

We all know that the best way to see Cape Town is by hopping on and off a City Sightseeing Bus. And we know you’ll leap at the opportunity to both see the city for a discount – and help conserve one of our rarest animals!

Join us on the red bus after 1pm on Leap Day – 29 February 2016 – for only R20 and not only will you get to explore the Mother City with us, but you’ll be making a contribution to the conservation of the critically endangered Table Mountain ghost frog.

If you are a South African citizen and have a green barcoded ID book or the new ID card, hop on down to the City Sightseeing bus stop at the V&A Waterfront (opposite the Two Oceans Aquarium ), from 1pm on 29 February.

If this offer makes you leap for joy and puts a spring in your step, here’s what you need to know:

  • It is on a first come, first served basis –  the first 400 passengers after 1pm
  • The Leap Day special is only valid on Monday, 29 February 2016
  • You will need to present your South African green barcoded ID to activate this one-day-only deal
  • The offer is only valid at our V&A Waterfront tour office (stop 1), just outside the Two Oceans Aquarium

Half of all ticket sales will be donated to the South African National Biodiversity Institute, to assist its Table Mountain ghost frog conservation work.
