The red bus is one of the four Transport Squares featured on the Monopoly Cape Town board

After months of anticipation, Mr Monopoly has finally revealed Cape Town's hottest attractions ... and we're among them!

The red bus is a featured Transport Square on the Monopoly Cape Town board, located on the traditionally most expensive strip of the game. Other properties in the same row include two universities, the Taj Cape Town hotel, Cape Point and the V&A Waterfront.

The Waterfront – which is also stop 1 on the red bus tours – hosted the global launch last week, where a giant 10mx10m Monopoly board with equally big playing pieces was the main attraction. Representatives from all the featured squares, celebrities and media were among the attendees – some wearing replicas of Mr Monopoly's iconic top hat and bow tie.
