As we all see the effect of COVID -19 on the country, World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary has to accept the loss of visitors to the park as well as loss of income that goes along with this. As a Sanctuary relying mainly on gate takings to sustain the nearly 3000 birds and animals in their care are currently calling upon members and supporters to assist us during this difficult time.

Currently all staff are being placed on short time as a measure to sustain staff wages as well as animal feeds. ASTRAL has continued to assist as a sponsor with animal feed.

Apart from financial support to maintain staff wages (40), The World of Birds are in need of the following items on a weekly basis.

In addition, World of Birds use approximately 800 Kg fresh fruit and vegetables weekly.
