Sightseeing with the Red Bus in Cape Town

City Sightseeing is the best way to see the Mother City, with stops at some of the best attractions and hotspots. Cape Town is booming with fun and adventure, and the kids will love hopping off at the V&A Waterfront to explore the Two Oceans Aquarium. And don’t miss the chance to show them some of Cape Town’s natural beauty with a trip up to Table Mountain, or a walk through the colourful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Hop off at one of the Constantia wine farms for some wine tasting and a hearty family lunch before exploring the World of Birds in Hout Bay, or hop on a glass bottom boat to see the seals up close at Duiker Island. It’s fun for the whole family! These are only a few of the exciting stops along the City Sightseeing routes.

The City Sightseeing Harbour and Canal cruises are also the perfect ways to beat the traffic from the CTICC to the Waterfront and give sightseers the chance to explore the scenic canals. Be sure to hop on the harbour cruise for up close views of the busy working harbour, with frolicking seals and towering ships.

Sightseeing with the Red Bus in Johannesburg

Johannesburg also has a lot to offer, and City Sightseeing is the best way to see it all. Jozi is rich in history, and our favourite kids’ stops do an amazing job at making the past fun and exciting. Take your kids to Zoo Lake to feed the ducks before heading over to Johannesburg Zoo to visit all the wide animals. From there it’s on to the James Hall Transport Museum for a look back into all of South Africa’s historical transport.

Next stop is the thrilling Gold Reef City Theme Park, themed around the gold rush. Don’t miss out on the Soweto tour , with the Orlando Tours and a trip through the district's history and culture. Finish the day with a stop at the Newtown Precinct, where the kids can enjoy the Sci-Bono Science Centre. These are just a few of the exciting adventures to be had along City Sightseeings’ Johannesburg routes.
